Here are pictures of the Faramir costume I did for a friend of mine. This costume was made with readily available materials from Walmart, thrift stores, etc. The leather was scrounged from an old coat and skirt, most of the materials came from the $1/yard bin, buckles were from thrift store shoes, bow is made from a tree branch, heck, I think I even have some bits of old milk carton in there. Total cost was somewhere between $75 and $100 (not counting the sword). I don't have a proper tutorial, sorry, but if you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them. Many thanks to my father for helping make the bow, my mother for doing a lot of the hand-sewing, my sister for helping with weathering, and my brother-in-law for fletching the arrows.
